We wish to inform you that we will be raising the subscription fees for Viu Premium starting from October 15, 2025.
This adjustment is in alignment with the additional Value-Added Tax (VAT) for foreign digital service providers, like Viu, recently implemented in the Philippines.
Affected users are expected to receive email, Apple in-app messaging, Apple push notification, Viu app push and/or Viu app inbox message relating to the subscription fees’ adjustment from Viu, Apple and/or Google respectively (the means of communication depending on your chosen subscription channel and payment method). Please check your email or the relevant means of communication registered with Viu for more details.
The new subscription fees (if applicable) will automatically take effect at the end of your then-current billing cycle, and it will be charged via your existing authorized payment method.
If you do not wish to continue with your subscription under the new subscription fees, please ensure that you cancel your subscription at least 24 hours prior to the end of your then-current billing cycle. If you have successfully cancelled the subscription, the subscription plan will be terminated at the end of your then-current billing cycle.
To cancel your subscription, follow these steps:
- If you subscribed to Viu Premium via the Viu website (www.viu.com) (“Viu Website”) and made direct payment by credit card, GCash, or Maya (excluding payment thru PLDT), you may log into your Viu account and go to "My Profile" using the Viu Website. Please do this instead of using the Viu app to cancel a subscription; or
- If you subscribed to Viu Premium via the Viu app and made the purchase through Apple Pay or Google Pay:

Note: Simply uninstalling the Viu app will not automatically cancel your subscription to Viu Premium.
Unless otherwise specified at the time of subscription, you must unsubscribe at least 24 hours before the end of your then-current billing cycle following step 1 or 2 above, or else, your subscription will be automatically renewed at the new subscription fees.
