We wish to inform you that Viu will be adjusting the subscription fees of certain subscription plans in phases starting from 15 October 2025.
Affected users are expected to receive email, Apple in-app messaging, Apple push notification, Viu app push and/or Viu app inbox message relating to the subscription fees adjustment from Viu, Apple and/or Google respectively (the means of communication depending on your chosen subscription channel and payment method). Please check your email address registered with Viu for more details.
The new subscription fees (if applicable) will automatically take effect at the end of the then-current billing cycle, and it will be charged via your existing authorised method of payment. If you do not wish to continue with your subscription under the new subscription fees, please ensure that you cancel your subscription at least 24 hours prior to the end of the then-current billing cycle. If you have successfully cancelled the subscription, the Viu subscription plan will terminate at the end of the then-current billing cycle.
Important note: *Simply uninstalling the Viu app will not automatically cancel your subscription to the Viu subscription plan.*
Please follow the steps below to cancel your subscription.
- Those users who subscribed to the Viu subscription plan via the Viu website (www.viu.com) (“Viu Website”) and made direct payment by credit card or AlipayHK (excluding payment through the Apple Pay or Google Pay), you may log into the Viu paid service account and go to "My Profile" at Viu Website, instead of using the Viu app, to cancel a subscription; or
- Those users who subscribed to the Viu subscription plan via the Viu app and made a purchase through an Apple Pay or a Google Pay:

Please note that Apple or Google may request some users to consent and agree to the new subscription fees. Please follow the instructions of Apple or Google to complete the relevant consent confirmation. If such a user fails to consent to the new subscription fees, such subscription will terminate at the end of the then-current billing cycle.
Reminders for Viu Premium users: We look forward to serving you on a long-term basis and hope you enjoy Viu Premium plan benefits such as video ad-free viewing. Please be aware that cancelling your subscription now would preclude you from resubscribing to this service plan.
