How do I cancel my Viu Premium Service?

If you want to stop subscribing to Viu premium, stop subscribing to Viu 3 days before your Viu premium subscription runs out, if you subscribe by selecting the automatic renewal option. Here's how to unsubscribe according to the last subscription you bought:

Apple: 

If you subscribed to our service through the Viu app and made a purchase with your Apple ID, please see below to cancel your subscription:

For iOS users, please follow the steps below or check the related website (https://support.apple.com/en-hk/HT202039) :

  1. Go to “Settings” on your iOS device
  2. Tap your account
  3. Tap "Subscriptions” (If you don't see "Subscriptions," tap "iTunes & App Store" instead. Then tap your Apple ID, tap “View Apple ID”, sign in, scroll down to “Subscriptions”, and tap “Subscriptions”.)
  4. Search for Viu subscription.
  5. Cancel the subscription and confirm the action

After successful cancellation, the existing service will be terminated at the end of your current billing period.

Note: Uninstalling the Viu app will not automatically cancel your service. You must unsubscribe via App Store or viu.com (depending on your chosen payment method) at least 24 hours before the next billing date. If you uninstall the app without cancellation, the subscription will be automatically renewed and you will still be charged.

 

Google:

If you subscribed to our service through the Viu app and made a purchase with your Google Account, please see below to cancel your subscription:

For Android users, please follow the steps below or check the related website (https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en&oco=) :

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device
  2. Tap “Google Profile ” and then Payments and Subscriptions”
  3. Select “Subscriptions”
  4. Search for Viu subscription.
  5. Select “Cancel subscription”
  6. Follow the instructions

After successful cancellation, the existing service will be terminated at the end of your current billing period.

To deactivate your GOPAY RECURRING subscription please follow the below steps:

A. Deactivate from VIU app

  1. Launch the VIU app.
  2. Go to Menu
  3. Click on My Account
  4. Scroll down and click on the “Cancel Subscription” button
  5. You will get a pop-up after successful cancellation

OR

B. Raise a request to the Codapy

OR

C. Raise a ticket to VIU

  1. Launch VIU app
  2. Go to Menu
  3. Click on Contact Us
  4. Do not delete the auto-generated text
  5. Elaborate why do you wish to terminate your subscription
  6. Click on Send button

Hutch

If you have subscribed to HUTCH please follow the below steps:

A. To cancel your subscription send an SMS from your registered mobile number

  1. Choose the Keyword corresponding to your Partner and package correctly.

To deactivate your INDIHOME subscription please follow the below steps based on your subscription package:

Viu on Telkomsel- IndiHome Movie package service

Contact Telkomsel customer support by calling 188 or visiting telkomsel.com/support

Viu on IndiHome STB device

A. Deactivate from VIU app

  1. Launch the VIU app.
  2. Go to Menu
  3. Click on My Account
  4. Scroll down and click on the “Cancel Subscription” button
  5. You will get a pop-up after successful cancellation

OR

B. Contact Telkomsel customer support by calling 188 or visiting telkomsel.com/support

OR

C. Raise a ticket to VIU

  1. Launch VIU app
  2. Go to Menu
  3. Click on Contact Us
  4. Do not delete the auto-generated text
  5. Elaborate why do you wish to terminate your subscription
  6. Click on Send button

Indosat

A. Open the proof of purchase in the previous SMS, then follow the instructions that were informed in the SMS

B. Raise a request to the INDOSAT

C. Raise a ticket to VIU

  1. Launch VIU app
  2. Go to Menu
  3. Click on Contact Us
  4. Do not delete the auto-generated text
  5. Elaborate why do you wish to terminate your subscription
  6. Click on Send button

Linknet 

To deactivate your LINKNET subscription please follow the below steps:

A. Deactivate from VIU app

  1. Launch the VIU app.
  2. Go to Menu
  3. Click on My Account
  4. Scroll down and click on the “Cancel Subscription” button
  5. You will get a pop-up after successful cancellation

OR

C. Raise a ticket to VIU

  1. Launch VIU app
  2. Go to Menu
